The Creator: Chad Wesley Smith

Chad Wesley Smith is a world-renowned powerlifter, strongman, and track & field athlete. He created the Juggernaut Method to prepare himself and his athletes for competition, focusing on long-term development and peak performance.

The Methodology

The program is structured around four "waves," each lasting four weeks:

  1. The 10s Wave: High volume, hypertrophy focus.
  2. The 8s Wave: Moderate volume and intensity.
  3. The 5s Wave: Strength focus.
  4. The 3s Wave: Peaking and maximal strength.

The Phases

Each wave consists of four phases:

  • Accumulation: High volume work.
  • Intensification: Increasing intensity.
  • Realization: Testing your strength with an AMRAP set.
  • Deload: Recovery.

The Juggernaut Method is known for its scalability and ability to handle high workloads, making it a favorite among athletes in various sports, from powerlifting to football.
