The Methodology
The program is simplicity itself.
The Routine
- Workout A: Squat, Press, Deadlift
- Workout B: Squat, Bench Press, Power Clean
You train 3 days a week, alternating A and B.
Linear Progression
You do 3 sets of 5 reps (1 set of 5 for Deadlift). Every workout, you add 5-10 lbs to the bar. This linear progression takes advantage of the "novice effect," allowing beginners to get strong very quickly.
